Court Order Saves Tenncare Enrollees

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen says a federal court order expanding the state's power to restrict Tenncare pharmacy benefits means all 97,000 medically needy enrollees will likely retain their benefits.
Thursday, Bredesen said it looks positive to being able to keep all the most medically needy people on the rolls.
Bredesen said administration officials are evaluating Wednesday's ruling by Federal District Judge John Nixon in Nashville and he'll likely make a decision on the medically needy group "early next week".
