Bowling Green, KY – The Barren River District Health Department is performing additional
tests on four people from Western Kentucky University who were
recently exposed to tuberculosis.
The four had positive test results on skin tests last week. The testing
began after a student tested positive for the active form of the
respiratory disease on more comprehensive tests.
A positive result means the person was exposed to someone with
tuberculosis
