The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has given the all-clear following Thursday morning's accident on I-65 in Hart County.

All lanes and the exit ramp of Northbound I-65 are open at Exit 71 in Hart County following a multi-commercial vehicle and personal vehicle crash that occurred around 4 a.m. central.

An early morning wreck on I-65 north in Hart County has reduced the interstate to one lane. The accident involving a multi-commercial vehicle and personal vehicle took place around 4 a.m. local time.

Kentucky Organization Looking to Help Preserve Site in Hart County

The Kentucky Heritage Land Conservation Fund has provided funding to help purchase a 90-acre tract in Hart County so that it can be preserved. Frenchman's Knob, just northeast of Bonnieville, will eventually be open to the public for hiking, bird watching and educational programs.

Tire Amnesty Program Starts Today in Hart County

Today through Saturday, a tire amnesty drop-off program will be available in Hart County, Kentucky. Its part of a regional re-cycling effort that is designed to help reduce improper tire disposal. The Environmental Protection Agency says old tires account for about two percent of the solid waste disposal in the U.S.
