Beshear releases tax returns after media preasure

Frankfort, Ky – Kentucky Democratic gubernatorial nominee Steve Beshear has released his 2006 federal and state income tax returns. The Dawson Springs Democrat had held back from releasing the information, until reporters pointed out that Beshear had demanded his political opponents do the same. Fletcher sets date for special legislative session

Frankfort, Ky – Governor Fletcher has set the official date of a special legislative session. On July 5th, lawmakers will return to Frankfort to discuss tax breaks for a coal conversion plant--and possibly millions of dollars in vetoed university projects.

ATV injuries hitting hard in Kentucky

In rural parts of the Commonwealth, the vehicles are a popular way to navigate rocky terrain. With Ky overdue for earthquake, state dusts off emergency plan
