Kentuckians voting in the election Tuesday will be asked if hunting and fishing should be rights protected by the state constitution.  State lawmakers passed a constitutional amendment earlier this year, sending it to voters to ratify or reject.

Two pre-schoolers were killed and four others injured, when their bus crashed Monday afternoon in Carroll County.  State Police say a Head Start bus taking nine children home, and was traveling on Boone Road, when it ran off the road, partially overturned onto its side and struck a tree.

Hurricane Sandy is disrupting flights from Louisville International Airport to the East Coast.  Airport spokesperson Trish Burke on Monday said all flights to the Eastern Seaboard were cancelled, which amounts to 20 of their 84 daily flights.

The daughter of a central Kentucky mayor is facing charges after police say she sold drugs on the University of Kentucky campus.  Nineteen-year-old Rachel Siegelman, the daughter of Versailles mayor Fred Siegelman, is charged with trafficking.

A large crowd is expected in Hodgenville to honor a fallen officer. Forty-three-year-old Mark Taulbee was pursuing a suspect early Sunday when he lost control of his cruiser and crashed. 

Kroger is recalling spinach sold at grocery stores in more than a dozen states due to possible Listeria contamination. The Kroger Fresh Selections Tender Spinach was sold in ten-ounce bags and had a "best if used by" date of September 16.

The couple told police they went shopping at Walmart. Police found the two-year-old and 11-month old children home alone after being called by a witness who saw the man and woman leaving.

Potential future operators of Kentucky Kingdom are getting a look at the old amusement park. The gates were opened Tuesday for prospective bidders to inspect the vacant rides and buildings on the property.

Hundreds of jobs are being cut at Lexmark. The Lexington-based company is going to stop making inkjet printers.  The move means 1,700 people are losing their jobs worldwide, that's about 13% of the company's workforce. 

A manhunt for a suspected killer in western Kentucky has ended with his arrest in another state. A police SWAT team captured 41-year-old Billy Utley at a motel in Illinois. He surrendered peacefully.
