Kroger is recalling spinach sold at grocery stores in more than a dozen states due to possible Listeria contamination. The Kroger Fresh Selections Tender Spinach was sold in ten-ounce bags and had a "best if used by" date of September 16.

Hundreds of jobs are being cut at Lexmark. The Lexington-based company is going to stop making inkjet printers.  The move means 1,700 people are losing their jobs worldwide, that's about 13% of the company's workforce.

Accused Kentucky Killer Captured in Illinois

A manhunt for a suspected killer in western Kentucky has ended with his arrest in another state. A police SWAT team captured 41-year-old Billy Utley at a motel in Illinois. He surrendered peacefully.
