From the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet:

Interstate 65 southbound was closed around 8am at Mile Point 105 in southern Bullitt County due to a crash involving a semi and a car. Currently, the right (outside) lane is open with emergency personnel allowing traffic to funnel through at a very slow pace.

The remaining two southbound lanes will be closed for several more hours.

At the time stamp of this advisory, traffic is backed up to Mile Point 110.  The queue is likely to continue growing.   The single open lane is not keeping up with the pace of vehicles approaching the back of the queue.

Motorists on US 31W, KY 434 and KY 313 in Hardin County may experience congested conditions as travelers along southbound I65 seek alternate routes.
