Bowling Green, Ky – "Amanda's Law" goes into effect today, July 15th. The legislation allows judges to order GPS bracelets for domestic violence offenders who violate orders of protection. Diana Ross's daughter Amanda was shot to death last September outside her Lexington home. Diana hopes judges will order the tracking devices whenever possible, despite concerns over costs. Former Barren County lawmaker Steve Nunn is charged in the murder of Amanda Ross. Lisa Autry has more on the new law.
