Smiths Grove, KY – A 19 year old Smiths Grove man is under arrest in connection with a fatal hit and run car accident in Warren County Wednesday. The crash claimed the life of 15 year old Sarlett Hulse and left her mother, Angelina, critically injured.
State police say Jose Gonzalez-Gonzalez has been charged with 2nd degree manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid. He was lodged in the Warren County Regional jail
Auhtorities say the suspect failed to come to a cpmplete halt at a stop sign before striking the Hulse vehicle. The suspect then allegedly fled the scene at the intersection of Kentucky 101 and Kentucky 1297
Late Wednesday night state police troopers and Warren County sheriff's deputies located the vehicle believed to have been involved in the crash. Jose Gonzalez-Gonzalez was then arrested.
