Bowling Green, KY – Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend the Kentucky State Fair in upcoming days, and many will fill out entry forms for prize give-aways and drawings. However, officials with the Better Business Bureau say supplying your address and phone number on entry forms may establish a business relationship with the company offering the prize. That relationship could result in unwanted credit card offers or telemarketing calls, even if you are on a "no-call" list. The BBB recommends asking how any information you supply to a contest will be used....before you consider filling out an entry form.
