Bowling Green, Ky – The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce will be under new leadership this summer. Jim Hizer, the current president and C.E.O of the Economic Development Corporation of Wayne County, In, has accepted the posotion as president and chief executive officer. Hizer succeeds Margaret Grissom who retired from the post in December.
Hizer will assume his post on June first. He said he plans to make a list of recommendations for the Kentucky Transpark for the Economic Development Authority of Bowling Green and Warren County as well as the Chamber Board of Directors by the end of year. As president of the Chamber of Commerce, Hizer will also assume the position of president of the Economic Development Authority
