Bowling Green Police Identify Homicide Victim

Bowling Green police say 33-year-old Terence M. Jones of Bowling Green was the victim of an early morning shooting at the Hands Club on Beech Street in the city.

Just after 1:00 a.m. Thursday, police were called to the business for a report of a robbery and a man having been shot. Officers arrived and located a trail of blood which led to the victim's body nearly a block away. In a release, BGPD Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward says Jones had an apparent gunshot wound but police have not been able to determine if that was the cause of death.

Jones' body has been taken to Louisville for an autopsy. No arrests have been made and BGPD detectives are continuing their investigation into the case.
