Bowling Green, KY/Washington.D.C. – U-S Senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky says lawmakers
are determined to stay on the job, despite the discovery
of ricin in a Senate office. The lawmaker from northern
Kentucky says its very important to send the message
that sending such a substance will not bring the
work of Congress to a standstill.
Senator Bunning says the House of Representatives
has been cooperating to try to provide additional
space for Senate Committees. However, he points
out that this is a particularly busy time for the House
and Senate. Bunning says the Senate is moving
ahead with the new Transportation Bill.
