Campaign Finance Documents Released

Frankfort, KY – New campaign finance documents show Governor Fletcher received
money from Pepsi's political action fund less than two weeks before the \\
start of the beverage company's new five year deal with the state.
Fletcher also paid Hollywood based "Strategic Perception Inc." more than
$66,000 in political consulting fees and expenses during the months of
August and September. The financial activity by Fletcher's campaign was
disclosed in documents filed Monday with the state's registry of election
finance.
For the period from August 1 to November 10, Fletcher's campaign
collected about $218,000 in political contributions. With nearly $87,000
in expenses, Fletcher's re-election fund finished with a total of about
$131,000.
Other officeholders also filed campaign finance reports including:
Democrat Attorney General Greg Stumbo had about $320 on hand
Democrat state auditor Crit Luallen had an ending balance of $5,400
Republican agriculture commissioner Richie Farmer had a $1,000
contribution and had about $26,600 available.
Republican secretary of state Trey Grayson raised about $115,000 and
had about $103,700 remaining.
