The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will hold a public meeting Thursday night to discuss plans to widen US 62 in Central City. Engineers and design consultants will be available to answer questions about the $16.5 million project that includes a busy section of US 62 from near the Central City Wal-Mart entrance at US 431 running eastward to the US 431/KY 70/South 2nd Street intersection.

The meeting is scheduled from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Madisonville Community College Muhlenberg County Campus.
