Chemical Leak At Bluegrass Depot

By AP

Richmond, KY – Workers at the Bluegrass Army Depot near Richmond have contained a mustard agent leak. An Army spokesman says the leak was in one of the igloos at the Depot which is a dirt bunker where chemical wepaons are stored.
The Army says the leak did not represent a danger to the community. Mustard agent is stored in projectiles and is the least lethal of the chemical agents stored at the Depot. The nerve agents VX and GB are also stored there.
When projectilea re found to be leaking they're packed into leak-proof containers.
There are more than 15,000 projectiles of mustard agent stored at the Depot in Madison County.
