Bowling Green, Ky – Mammoth Cave National Park is conducting a series of prescribed fires. These controlled burns are designed to reduce the chances of a serious forest fire, according to Public Information Officer Vickie Carson. Area residents with breathing conditions are being warned that smoke will be in the air.
