Court Martial Continues At Fort Knox

By AP

Fort Knox, KY – Allegations of abuse from several basic training soldeirs have led to courts martial proceedings at Fort Knox and the latest is scheduled to wrap up Tuesday.
33 year old Staff Sergeant Michael Rhoades was one of four drill sergeants charged with maltreatment of soldiers and obstruction of justice.
The charges stem from reports of abuse by basic trainees in Company E, First Battalion, 81st Armor Regiment, First Armor Training brigade in early February.
One drill sergeant was demoted to staff sergeant after his court martial in April, two others will face special courts-martial next month.
