CPE Committee on Equal Opportunities to Meet Tomorrow

A number of issues relating to diversity in higher education are on the agenda for a Council on Postsecondary Education Committee on Equal Opportunities meeting, which will be held Monday at the Research Farm of Kentucky State University.

              The meeting will open with remarks from CPE President Robert King and Chief Diversity Officer Rana Johnson. The Committee will deal with a number of agenda items, including equal opportunity and diversity planning in the bluegrass state. Oversight of the Statewide Diversity Policy and student issues such as college readiness and success  will also be part of tomorrow's discussion.

The Committee will meet just two days after the  CPE co-sponored  Academically Proficient High School Junior and Senior Diversity Conference was held at the WKU campus.
