Daughter of Kentucky Mayor Arrested for Drugs on UK Campus
The daughter of a central Kentucky mayor is facing charges after police say she sold drugs on the University of Kentucky campus. Nineteen-year-old Rachel Siegelman, the daughter of Versailles mayor Fred Siegelman, is charged with trafficking.
Police arrested her Wednesday at a campus parking lot. A police informant reportedly bought drugs from Siegelman on two different occasions over the past week. Police charged her with three counts of drug trafficking.
Fred Siegelman's office said he would have no comment on the matter.
James Johnson was also arrested on Tuesday and charged with trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
A third person, Lauren Tack, was cited with possession of marijuana and released.
