To deflect corruption charges, state opens bids for highway contracts

Frankfort, Ky – Sealed bids on hundreds of millions of dollars in state highway contracts were publicly opened at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The move comes as the Fletcher administration is trying to deflect corruption charges related to the bidding process. Kentucky Public Radio's Tony McVeigh has our story.
