Democrats Pick New Leader in the House

Frankfort,KY – Democrats in the Kentucky House have elected
a new Majority Leader. He's Representative
Rocky Adkins of Sandy Hook, Kentucky.

Adkins won the leadership post over Representative
Harry Moberly of Richmond in balloting at the
Capitol. Adkins will replace Greg Stumbo, who
will become the state's next Attorney General.

Adkins has been a member of the House since
1987. He represents a district which is made up
of Elliot, Boyd, Lawrence, and Rowan counties.
