Bowling Green, Ky – A new report released by the Giving USA Foundation shows that Americans gave a record amount to charity in 2007, topping $300 billion for the first time. This all comes despite the constant drumbeat of bad economic news over the past year. Lisa Autry spoke with Giving USA board member Bob Lewis of Lexington, Ky.
