Albany, KY – State police say they have a suspect in connection with a double homicide in Clinton County and he's already in jail.
The identity of the suspect is not being released yet until he's formally charged in the deaths of 56 year old Ronnie Burchett and his 54 year old wife Charlonia.
The suspect is being held in the Wayne County jail on unrelated charges.
Clinton County coroner Steve Talbott says the victims were shot to death several days ago and their bodies were covered with blankets. Talbott says he doesn't know why the killer covered the bodies, which were in separate rooms of the house, about six miles from Albany.
Autopsies are scheduled to be performed by the state medical examiner's office.
