Drought Conditions Getting Worse

By AP

LaGrange, KY – Scattered showers have made little to no impact on the near drought conditions of central Kentucky.
Oldham County declared a water emergency Monday and the water shortage is even worse in lexington and eastern Kentucky. Oldham County water district customers who sprinkle their lawns or wash their cars could be fined or have their water cut off under conservation rules.
Officials say the county's pipelines can't supply water fast enough and tanks are at their lowest in years.
It's reported there's barely enough water to fight a fire.
