Ashland Blazer is advancing to the Saturday semifinals of the Kentucky Girls Sweet 16 basketball tournament after beating Danville 64-55.

The Kentucky Girls Sweet 16 field has been cut in half. The remaining eight teams play Friday in four quarterfinal matchups at WKU's E.A. Diddle Arena.
Here is the Friday lineup:
Ashland Blazer vs. Danville at 12:00 p.m.
Butler vs. Lafayette at 1:30 p.m.
Marshall County vs. George Rogers Clark at 6:30 p.m.
Elizabethtown vs. Anderson County at 8:00 p.m.
All times are central.
Four teams will play Saturday in the semifinals, with the state champion crowned Sunday afternoon.
