For Kentuckians wanting to vote in next month's primary election, the deadline to register is Monday. April 23rd is also the last day to make address changes on voter registration forms. This is a presidential election year, which typically brings higher voter turnout, but Secretary of State Allison Lundergan Grimes says the ballot will feature other races too.
"We have our state legislative races for the House and Senate. We also have several judicial races on the ballot, as well as county attorneys throughout the state of Kentucky."
Kentucky's primary is May 22nd. The state has 1.6 million registered Democrats followed by 1.1 million Republicans, and 209, 000 registered as Independent or Other.
