Electric car company coming to Franklin has poor reputation

Franklin, Ky – California-based Zero Air Pollution, or ZAP, broke ground last month on a 1-million square-foot facility in Simpson County, Kentucky. ZAP has promised thousands of new jobs and the production of gas-free electric cars. Automotive analyst Aaron Bragman of Detroit says ZAP has a poor reputation in the auto industry. For example, he says the company has failed to deliver some vehicle models. The ZAP CEO says such glitches will be alleviated once the company moves production from overseas.
