Ethics Commission Gets Order From AG

By AP

Frankfort, KY – The state attorney general's office says the executive branch ethics commission should stop investigating political interference with personnel matters.
The statement said the order was because of leaks of confidential information from the commission.
Governor Fletcher has countered, saying he hasn't received any information from the commission and that attorney general Greg Stumbo should not tell the commission how to conduct it's business.
The allegation of a leak arose from a tape recorded telephone conversation between whistleblower Doug Doerting and Jill Lemaster, the ethics commission director.
