Exit Ramps in Louisville Won't Reopen Today

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising motorists that the exit ramps for northbound I-65 to eastbound I-64/northbound I-71 and westbound I-64 in downtown Louisville will not be reopening today.  A July 9th target date had been publicized earlier for completing the work,  but the contractor has more time left  to complete the ramp work, under the current contract.

Officials with the Transportation Cabinet say the repairs have taken longer than expected, and the contractor will need all of the allowed days to complete the project. The ramps closed for the construction project on June 25th. A statement from the Cabinet indicates the ramps are expected to reopen within the next few days.
