Film Crew To Re-Enact Carrollton Bus Crash

A film team making a documentary about the Carroll County bus crash that killed 27 people plans to re-enact the crash this weekend as it prepares the film for release next year.

The church bus was returning to Radcliff after an outing to Kings Island when it collided with a pickup truck being driven the wrong way on Interstate 71 by a drunken driver. It's considered the worst drunken driving crash in U.S. history.

Lexington based filmmaker Jason Epperson is looking for extras for the re-enactment.The film "Impact: After the Crash" is planned for release next spring to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the May 14, 1988 wreck.
