Bowling Green, KY – A "flag drop" ceremony involving a pair of military helicopters will be part of the pre-game activities before the Navy vs. WKU football game Saturday. Jarrett Millsaps of Greenview Hospital is a member of the U-S Naval Academy Alumni Association. He says an M-H 60 helicopter and an M-h 53 helicopter will take part in the ceremony. Millsaps says the pre-game activities will be meaningful to both universities playing in the game, and will include a tribute to the nation's military personnel, as well as a remembrance of the victims of the September Eleventh terror attacks.
WKU will host Navy Saturday, with the kick-off scheduled for six pm Central time.
