Flash Flood Warning in Effect for Part of Whitley County

Update at 2:20pm:

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Southeastern Whitley County in Kentucky until 4:30pm eastern. The warning comes as severe weather has made its way across parts of our listening area today, hitting much of the WDCL listening area in and around the Pulaski County region.

Update at 9:31am:

The severe thunderstorm warning for northern Logan County has expired. The flood advisory for southern Breckinridge and nothern Grayson Counties remains in effect until 11am central.

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northern Logan County in Kentucky until 9:30am central time. NWS radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail near the town of Everett.

The NWS has also issued a flood advisory for southern Breckinridge County and northern Grayson County until 11:00 am central.
