Frankfort, KY – Governor Fletcher says timing will be the key
to plans to modernizing the tax system. Speaking
to a group representing small businesses, Fletcher
said he wants to see changes to make the state
more "business friendly."
Fletcher told the group that approach includes
making the state's tax code more elastic---
and lowering health care costs for owners of
businesses. Kentucky's new Governor says
his plan for tax modernization isn't finished
yet, and he hopes the time is right for working
with the General Assembly on the issue.
