Lexington, KY – Governor-elect Ernie Fletcher has selected
Lieutenant General Maxwell Clay Bailey to
serve as Secretary of Transportation in
Kentucky. Bailey is a native of Johnson County
who has been working on homeland security
issues for the state.
The retired three star Air Force General says
this is the time to re-focus the Transportation
Cabinet so that it provides the best possible
services for residents of the state.
Before accepting the job relating to homeland
security, Bailey head the Air Force component
of U-S Special Operations.
