Forestry Officials Say Man on Lawn Mower Set Fires
According to Kentucky Forestry officials, an Eastern Kentucky man set a number of small fires while he was holding a jar of moonshine and riding a lawn mower. They say the man was spotted setting fires in Bell County.
Division of Forestry Spokeswoman Lynn True told the Lexington Herald-Leader that Rangers had been watching for suspicious activity in the area, because of several recent fires. According to True, the Rangers called the State Police after seeing the man setting the blazes. The Associated Press says the police were not able to find the man at his home, so he hasn't been arrested. However, True says authorities know his identity. The incident allegedly occurred Thursday in the Laurel Fork area.
