Bowling Green – The Third Infantry Brigade Combat Team, First Division based at Fort Knox has suffered its first casualty since deploying to Afghanistan last December. The unit is engaging in combat operations and training the Afghan police and army. WKU Public Radio has been following the mission and gets this update from Lieutenant Colonel James Vizzard, a battalion commander from Fort Knox.
