Fort Knox – More than 3,000 soldiers from central Kentucky begin leaving this week for Afghanistan. They make up the Third Brigade Combat Team stationed at Fort Knox. Over the next year, WKU Public Radio will be getting updates on the mission from a battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel James Vizzard. He spoke with WKYU's Lisa Autry.
