Fort Campbell will host a Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome Symposium on October 2nd. Organizers of the event say the program will help to address the needs of service members.
This will be the third annual symposium held at Fort Campbell on the subject. Leaders from the field of traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress will discuss the needs of veterans, service members, caregivers, and military families. Organizers of the event say resources, information, and support will be provided at the symposium.
Presented by the Blanchfield Army Hospital and the Kentucky Department of Behavioral Health, the symposium will also include a discussion about suicide prevention. Representatives of the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center will also lead sessions, which will be held at Fort Campbell's Cole Park Commons .
