Bowling Green, KY – GM officials say about 250 jobs will eventually be created, as a result of their 131 million dollar investment in the Bowling Green assembly plant. Company and union officials say the investment will put to rest concerns that future Corvettes might be built somewhere else. GM North America President Mark Reuss praised the quality of the work at the Bowling Green facility, and said the company is making a significant commitment to keep the car's production at the plant that has manufactured all Corvettes since 1981.
