Golden Alert Issued for Missing Southern Kentucky Man

Police in southern Kentucky have issued a Golden Alert for a man last seen Oct. 9 and known to visit family members in Tennessee.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Office told WBKO-TV in Bowling Green that 55-year-old John Gilbert Kessinger of Campbellsville likes to visit family members in Dandridge, Tenn., near Knoxville, but no one there has heard from him.

Investigators say Kessinger has been diagnosed with early stage Alzheimer's Disease.  He has gray hair and a beard and was last seen wearing a Notre Dame school jacket, green pants, a red hat and a white shirt.

Kessinger doesn't have a driver's license and is known to walk or catch rides.
