Frankfort, Kentucky – Despite negative comments about the idea from House and Senate leaders, Governor Patton is proceeding with a proposed budget based on a tax increase of 570 million dollars. The Governor has indicated that corporations would be targeted for much of the increase. House and Senate leaders say they prefer to reduce the budget at this point.
