Grand Jury Looks Into Morgantown Death

Morgantown, KY – A Grand Jury is going to investigate information about an April 19th altercation in Morgantown that left one person dead.
Butler County Commonwealth's Attorney Tim Coleman says 45 year old Clevie Gardner of Morgantown died April 22nd at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green of head injurioes suffered during the incident. But questions remained on how he was injured.
The night of the altercation, Garner and his 17 year old son, Cody, were driving around Morgantown looking for 21 year old Jerry House after House allegedly made physical threats toward Cody.
The Garners met House in the parking lot of a Dollar General Store where police say Garner, wielding a pickax handle, threatened House and climbed on the hood of House's vehicle.
Police say when House pulled away, Garner allegedly fell off the vehicle suffereing a fatal injury.
