Groups Want Lewis To Return Delay Money

Washington, D.C. – A pair of political groups are trying to get Congressman Ron lewis to return campaign money he received from former House Majority Leader Tom Delay of Texas.
They're urging voters in kentucky's 2nd district to pressure Lewis to give up the money. A group called "We The People" has been placing automated phone calls to voters in the district while a second group, the "Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee" put out a release by e-mail.
The groups are responding to Delay being indicted by a grand jury on charges of campaign fiannce policy violations and money laundering. He stepped down temporarily from his leadership position until the matter is resolved.
