Hancock County Teacher Indicted on Child Pornography Charges
A Daviess County man has been indicted on child pornography charges, and he has been identified as an English teacher in Hancock County schools.
Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway announced today that 42 year old Daniel Scott Neal has been indicted by a Daviess County grand jury on 39 counts of possession of material of a sexual performance by a minor. The charges against Neal, who is also a cross country coach at Hancock County High School, are the result of an undercover investigation by the state’s Cybercrimes Unit.
A search warrant was executed on Neal’s Owensboro home in May, and law enforcement officials say investigators seized more than 400 suspected child pornographic videos and images.
You are reminded that a charge is merely an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
