Hardin County Jail Escapee Back Behind Bars

A man who escaped from the Hardin County Jail has been captured. WAVE-TV didn't provide details, but said 23-year-old Robert Wilson was back behind bars.

The Courier-Journal had reported that Wilson was being held on a second-degree rape charge when he walked out of the facility on Oct. 5.

Police said an officer left Wilson alone in a downstairs room while retrieving his belongings and Wilson was gone when he returned.
