Greenville, KY – Police say a pair of high school freshmen were involved in a murder for hire plot involving a middle school student.
The 14 year old girl and boy from Muhlenburg North High School are expected to be named after charges are filed.
A detective with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force says they're expected to be charged with complicity to commit murder.
Detective Mike Drake says the boy said some derogatory things about her. Informants told police that the girl paid the boy an undisclosed amount of money Monday to kill another boy.
Police recovered $200 from the boy.
