Hilltoppers to Face Top-Seeded Kentucky Tonight
The WKU Hilltoppers overcame a sixteen point deficit Tuesday night to defeat Mississippi Valley State and advance to tonight's match up with the Kentucky Wildcats. The First Four win Tuesday night was a dramatic comeback victory that enabled Ray Harper's team to head to Louisville for tonight's game in the KFC Yum! Center.
This will be the second game the WKU team has played in that arena this season, having dropped a ten point decision to Louisville on December 23rd. The Hilltoppers have won seven games in a row, while Kentucky brings a 32-2 record into the game. The Wildcats lost their last outing to Vanderbilt in the SEC tournament.
Tonight's game against the top ranked Wildcats is sold out and is scheduled to start at 5:50pm, Central time.
