Horse Cave Receives Cultural Distinction

The town of Horse Cave is one of five Kentucky communities receiving the Kentucky Cultural District Certification. Berea, Covington, Danville and Paducah round out the list.

Kentucky first lady Jane Beshear and Madeline Abramson, the wife of Kentucky Lieutenant Governor Jerry Abramson, announced the inaugural list saying it's a significant step toward linking cultural assets and economic development. The program, administered by the Kentucky Arts Council, encourages engagement and partnerships to build vibrant communities through the arts.
