After years of dormancy, the Kentucky Industrial Hemp Commission will hold a special meeting in Frankfort today. The meeting was called at the request of a majority of Commission members.
Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner James Comer is among the Hemp Commission members who requested the meeting. U.S. Senator Rand Paul is also interested in the issue, and members of his staff are scheduled to appear before the Hemp Commission to make a presentation. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Office of Agriculture Commissioner James Comer…starting at 10:00 am….Eastern time.
