Intoxicated Drivers Cited as Key Factor in Weekend Accidents

By AP

Louisville, KY – There were at least eight traffic deaths in Kentucky over the past
weekend. State officials now say many of the serious accidents
were caused by drunken drivers.

State Police say the driver of a pickup truck that struck a car
in Southwest Louisville is facing charges of murder and
drunken driving in connection with a Saturday crash. That
crash killed 48 year old Patricia Miller and her 20 year old
son, Michael Brown, both of Louisville. The pickup truck was
driven by 36 year old Roger Cummings of Louisville.
